The Playground gives artists at every stage of development access to world-class mastering. Our goal is to elevate the standards for recorded sound, and our reputation is built on delivering results to our clients.

Equipment
 
TC|Works' flagship software is used for mastering, with Pro Tools HD for any waveform editing. We also utilize Emagic's WaveBurner Pro, depending on client's needs and preferences.  All run on our Power Macintosh G4 1GHz workstation with 2GB of RAM and 24/96 digital I/O to run all software applications with power to spare.

We've got NOT just a bevy of plugins such as the Waves Platinum Bundle and other standards, but we also have the ears to know how to use them to the their maximum potential!

We also use "IDR" dithering designed by world renowned psychoacoustic expert Michael Gerzon for all Production Masters.  What this means is that your 16-bit masters actually sound like 18-bit masters due to advanced dithering and noise shaping algorithms!
